It is awfully slow, transferring large files under windows vista compared to other operating systems. Performance and compatibility pack has been leaked by Neowin for both 32-bit and 64-bit version of vista with will solve the issue along with several others.This patch is not released from Microsoft. Its not sure Microsoft has officially decided to update this via Windows update system or if they have decided to hold it until the release of Vista SP1.
