Apple Patents i-product anti theft:
Apple has filed a patent for an anti-theft feature which could make stolen i-products useless or thief's can use those i-products as paper weight.
The patent describes technology which only allows ipod or portable mac to draw power from a nominated power adapter. This technology will detect the devise if they are connected to unauthorized recharging mechanism. When unauthorized charging is detected, the devise will refuse to recharge. From this thief's are unable to charge to use it.
This would result in the reduction of the crimes against the lawful owners of such devices.
