Facebook application called Garage Sale has been announced by splash tonight.Garage Sale is the new application where the users can sell things directly to others via their Facebook profile. There will be a commission of 5% on sales by buy.com. Some arguments that closed network is better way to sell items because people view the listing know you and trust you and they feel they will be satisfied with the product.
With Garage sale sellers wont have large buyers only their friends can view the sale listing. In eBay, a quick search and they can buy an item. Buyers will only buy from a friend if they happen to catch site of an item in a friends new feed that they were already looking for that product.
